That is, from across the room where you&#8217;re doing your dance, meditation, or presentation. Apple is shipping remote controls with more and more of its computers, but has done little to enable integration with 3rd party applications. <\/p>\n<p>\nFortunately two great applications exist for managing the remote&#8217;s functionality in a number of applications. <a href=\"http:\/\/caseapps.com\/sofacontrol-applications.html#flextime\">Sofa Control<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/twistedmelon.com\/mira\/faq.html#faqapps\">Mira<\/a> each provide support for FlexTime, bridging the gap between your computer and where you&#8217;re sitting, standing, or jumping while you use FlexTime. <\/p>\n<p>\nTwisted Melon, the company behind Mira, has taken things one step further and developed a <a href=\"http:\/\/twistedmelon.com\/mira\/hardware.html\">hardware product<\/a> to give Apple Remote support to those of whose machines don&#8217;t come with it built-in.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nCool stuff!\n<\/p>\n<p>A reader pointed out that a 3rd app, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iospirit.com\/index.php?mode=view&amp;obj_type=infogroup&amp;obj_id=24&amp;o_infogroup_objcode=infogroup-23&amp;sid=2851688G3d48d5ea8caa5c91\">Remote Buddy<\/a> also targets this crowded field of applications.
