I&#8217;m inclined to agree with the prevailing wisdom that the device uses some kind of ARM chip, which is suitable for such applications, and also used in Apple&#8217;s iPods. <\/p>\n<p>\nBut what if &#8220;not Intel&#8221; means <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amd.com\/us-en\/\">AMD<\/a>?   I don&#8217;t know enough about the embedded market to even know whether AMD makes compelling chips for such purposes.
