Black Ink for iOS 2.2 is now available on the App Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This update brings stellar crossword printing functionality to the app. That means that if you’re solving a puzzle on your iPhone, you can go from this:<\/p>\n

Although Black Ink is fairly new to iOS, it is built on the strength of Black Ink for Mac<\/a>, which I’ve been developing for the past 17 years. Rendering beautiful crosswords has always been a top priority both in the app itself, and in the printouts it generates. Use the built-in printing feature to produce gorgeous, paper-based puzzles when you’re in the mood to solve “the old-fashioned way”, or when you need a stack of puzzles to solve when you’re away from your phone or computer.<\/p>\n

Puzzle printing is available to all customers who have unlocked premium features by purchasing a subscription or one-time unlock. Users who have not unlocked premium features can still try the feature out! Try printing any puzzle and the demonstration puzzle above will be printed instead.<\/p>\n

This update also includes support for rendering animated graphical overlays on puzzles that specify them.<\/p>\n
