I knew in particular when I saw the &ldquo;open book&rdquo; style interface, that it was time for me to add a long overdue feature to the app: inline clue lists.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/redsweater.com\/blog\/wp-content\/downloads\/2026\/10\/BlackInkDuo.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"BlackInkDuo.png\" border=\"0\" width=\"480\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This should be a welcome update not just for iPhone Duo users, because the inline clue support is also there for iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro. There are also a handful of unrelated bug fixes and enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>Here&rsquo;s the list of all the changes in this update:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2.5\n<ul>\n<li>iPhone Duo: enhanced designs to match every iPhone Duo mode<\/li>\n<li>Inline clue lists can now be displayed next to the puzzle grid when there is room<\/li>\n<li>Pull to refresh now shows download progress in the puzzle list<\/li>\n<li>Tap and hold on the calendar arrow buttons to navigate quickly through months<\/li>\n<li>The calendar interface now returns to the previously selected month for easier past-solving<\/li>\n<li>Improved behavior when downloading from puzzles sources that skip holidays<\/li>\n<li>Improved feedback when downloading from puzzle sources with no older puzzles<\/li>\n<li>Monospaced numerals are now used for calendar dates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you enjoy Black Ink, please consider writing a review or rating the app on the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/black-ink-crosswords\/id312142427\">App Store<\/a>, and spreading the word on social media!
