Married Life

May 6th, 2007

Still getting used to feeling the ring on my finger!

Chrissa and I were married yesterday in Lincoln, MA. Everything went really well, and the weather even turned out perfectly. Really couldn’t have asked for a better day.

It was great to turn the computer back on today and find not only a number of thoughtful emails, but scatteredwellwishing from some of my Mac developer colleagues. Thanks, guys! We were both touched by these gestures.

Probably won’t be posting much if at all over the next couple weeks. It’s been a very happy May, and now it’s going to be a very relaxing May.

As someone who wears no jewelry, not even a watch, getting used to the ring took a while. I foolishly went with the size suggested by the jeweler. As a result I’ve not been able to take the ring off since about six months after our wedding. One day I’ll have to have it cut off and properly sized I guess :)

Glad everything worked out so well. Congratulations!

Congrats! As an aside about the ring, I’ve been married for 5 years tomorrow, and I’m still not totally used to it… Most times it’s fine, but I find that my typing is much more accurate if I take it off while keying rapidly. I usually perch it on the plastic space above the esc key.
