Black Ink 2.4.5 is now available on the Black Ink site and on the Mac App Store.

This update complements the recent update to the iOS version, adding many of the same improvements to the Mac version, as well as some Mac-specific changes:

• Improved typing mechanics when clicking into an already-completed answer to retype a new answer
• Improve handling of puzzle dates when traveling between different time zones
• Pressing space to erase now advances to next word if pressed a second time at end of word
• Keystrokes that advance selection are now ignored for a short time after selecting as clue by typing its number
• Fix a bug that caused the next unsolved square to be selected even if the setting was turned off
• Fix a bug that prevented puzzles from downloading after canceling a login panel
• Fix a bug that prevented solved puzzles from being “opened as unsolved”
• Fix a crash that could occur when using QuickLook Preview on a puzzle
