MarsEdit 5.3.12 is now available on the MarsEdit site and on the Mac App Store.

This update fixes an issue that prevented the font panel from working reliably when changing the style of text in the rich text editor. It also includes a few other fixes:

• Fixed a bug that caused font panel changes not to be registered as expected in the Rich Text editor
• Fixed a bug that caused a blank “overlay” window to appear below title field
• Fixed a crash that could occur when processing an unexpected response from the blog server
• Removed an unnecessary animated hiding of the status bar when opening a new document
